Thats a little quote from a cadence learned in boot camp. It has stuck with me ever since. Why? It just did. But anyways, I hope all of you have had a good week thus far. Hopefully you all enjoyed Halloween. I ended up doing NOTHING at all. All the televisions were being used, and no one wanted to watch a horror movie with me. Those bastards. For me, it was very depressing indeed. I brought all of my scary movies with me too. I make it a habit to watch one at least once a week when I have time. The weather is really starting to get cold outside, and getting up in the morning with some warm clothes is now pretty much a given, unless you want to freeze. Personally, I don't.
I have since moved out of my old trailer that you all have seen (hopefully) and have moved into a better trailer since then. I know my roommates pretty well, since I met them when I first got here almost 3 months ago. There are three of us inside. There's English. He's originally from New York but was born in Jamacha. You really can't tell, since he has no accent. He is somewhat philosophical in many ways, and a bit of a neat freak. I caught him folding my clothes because he said it looked too messy. But still, he'll listen to whatever you have to say, and won't try to change your ideas. He accepts all points of views from everyone.
Then there is Pacer. He's from Scripps Ranch area in La Jolla. This guy is a real comedian. I've caught him in some little white lies when he is telling a story to try and look cool in front of people.
But still, its all in fun. Him and I talk of nothing but San Diego, and how much we miss it. For the most part, I get along well with everyone here. Next letter, I think I'll tell you about the people that I DON"T like. But that will wait until next time.
This past week, I had a definate date on when I was coming back. Not anymore. But it is still roughly around Feb. timeframe. They changed the date three times so far. Pretty stupid. I'll just be patient. Hopefully, we will all have an answer. Every day for me out here, is a day closer that I get to go home. I shall leave it at that.
