Ever see that show Lost in Space? I never knew what Dr. Smith
meant
when he said those words. I think after sitting out here for three
months in
Iraq, I now understand what he meant. I have met the halfway point
already,
so now its all downhill from here, I hope. I believe once Christmas
comes
and goes, it will be a lot better now. Its now average to wake up when
the
weather feels around 30 degrees in the morning. The days are very nice
(weatherwise, thats it. Nothing more) and the work is consistent for me
out
here.
Now for some reason, the keyboard doesn't want to type the
letters
that I'm trying to imput. Not that I'm not grateful for being able to
have a
computer out here. Oh, the stories I have to tell you guys when I get
home.
Some are funny, some are disturbing, but overall entertaining.
Remember,
there are certain things we can't talk about over the phones or email
because of security purposes, y'know? People start talking about it
over the
email or the phonelines and we have what we call a "lakeside 1
condition"
where they shut all communication down and begin total lockdown. Then
your
are really screwed. That happened recently, and believe me, its not
fun. But
anyways, I shall do what I have always done, and that is make it
through
another week. Well, sorry to bore you guys with my exciting details of
my
job here in Iraq. Its my bedtime, and I must turn in for another
exciting
fun filled days out here in Iraq! Thats sarcasm by the way. :) I'll
talk to
you all later next week, until then, I'm out :)
